Hello!

Hello and welcome! This is my first post...are you as excited as I am? Probably not, but that's okay, I can be excited for the both of us. 😄 

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Alicia Desira, if you haven't already guessed from the blog name. I'm 50+ years old and am here to share my beauty methods, tips and secrets. I'm also going to share with you my skin care routines and what I do to ensure that I keep my skin hydrated, moisturized and youthful. 

I've always been mistaken for being younger than I actually am. When I was younger, I hated it. Being carded every time I wanted to get in the club. Every time I bought alcohol. It was embarrassing and annoying. Oh, but when I reached around the age of 38, I loved getting asked for my ID. Every now and then I still get carded, but it's flattering more than anything.

I love when people turn around and stare with surprise when I'm with my grandbabies. They're always under the mistake that they are my children instead. Which is fine by me. That only proves that my beauty regime is working.
