Something new
My poor honey. He can't keep up with my menopause symptoms. He's in a deep freezer one minute and a a sauna the next. My moods be all over the place and although I've lost the weight, I still struggle with snacking at the most inopportune times. My energy levels have decreased so I'm tired all the time, but at the irrationally, I struggle with insomnia and can't sleep. Listen when I tell you menopause is giving me the B-L-U-E-S! 😒
If you read my previous post, you know that menopause had these other symptoms, besides the obvious:
- Increased body odor;
- Breast pain and/or swelling;
- Nipple discharge;
- Brittle nails;
- Depression;
- Brain fog;
- Dizziness;
- Dry eyes/skin;
- Increased facial hair;
- Itchy skin
- Plus a whole lot more other symptoms
What I also didn't know, but do now, is that certain foods can increase your symptoms. Like refined sugar and carbs. And alcohol. I can tell you right now, I'm not giving up my wine, so I don't know what I'm going to do about that. Sweet, salty or spicy foods can be a trigger hot flashes or cause me to overeat so I'll have to pay attention to that. Drinking at least 64 oz, or 8 glasses of water, a day is easy because I drink about a gallon.
Another aid in helping with menopause symptoms is eating the right foods: whole grains, fruits and vegetables, legumes (beans), nuts and seeds, lean proteins and good fats, like avocados and salmon.
So I've started taking MenoLabs MenoFit® for some relief. It's doctor-formulated clinically proven weight-loss ingredients are blend of 28 probiotics, antioxidants, herbs, vitamins and minerals. It's a professes to help with hot flashes, night sweats, low energy, mood swings, brain fog and poor sleep. It also makes the claim to improve metabolism, reduce weight gain, improve digestion, strengthen immunity, balance hormones improve estrogen use, vaginal health and libido.They also have an app that can help you track your symptoms, help you identify those triggers I mentioned above, find answers and support from other women going through the same thing.
They have a 90-day money back guarantee so I'll take it and see if there is any long term relief, but in the meantime, hopefully I'll have some relief in the first 15 days. Keep your fingers crossed!🤞🏽
